Joanne Sackett

President, General Merchandise
Joanne Sackett

Joanne Sackett leads the General Merchandise global client vertical at Circana. The Softlines, Entertainment, Technology, Home, Financial Services, and Public Sector businesses are in her purview, as well as Circana’s cross-industry businesses in Canada and Latin America. Sackett also oversees Business Development and the Contract Office.

Previously, Sackett served as president of Circana’s U.S. Softlines business. In that role, she oversaw the company’s Accessories, Apparel, Beauty, Fashion Footwear, and Sports practice areas. Earlier, she was executive vice president of NPD’s U.S. Retail division, where she managed the company’s recruitment and partnership development efforts for its panel of U.S. retailer partners.

In addition to her leadership at Circana, Sackett has extensive experience in the beauty industry. Before joining NPD in 2005, she was head of sales for Bliss, where she managed its total U.S. retail and wholesale distribution. Before that she was with Orlane as head of sales and client development.
